Grantee Update: Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department

2023 Recipient $28,725: Community Grant

The Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department would like to graciously thank the Rush County Community Foundation for their generous support for the purchase of new battery powered extrication equipment! This contribution allowed 30-year-old outdated equipment to be removed from the Engine and upgraded with more reliable tools. The volunteers of the department will develop, practice, and master the skills this exquisite equipment offers. Due to the generosity provided by the Rush County Community Foundation and the dedication of Glenwood Volunteer members, countless lives now have a greater chance to efficiently be rescued. Thank you very much for your support!
