IRA Distribution
Ask your institution to initiate a distribution with check made payable to Rush County Community Foundation and mail to: 117 N. Main Street, Rushville, IN 46173
- Donors OVER the age of 70 ½
- Donations made directly from your IRA through your administrator are NOT taxed as income.
- Satisfies required minimum distribution (RMD).
- Gifts can total up to $108,000 per IRA owner for 2025.
- Donors UNDER the age of 70 ½
- Donations can be made directly from an IRA, but donations will be taxed as income.

- Decide on how many bushels or a dollar amount you’d like to give.
- Let the elevator know at the time of delivery.
- Grain donated to RCCF at the time of sale is NOT counted as income.
- Reduction in taxes.
- Production costs are still deductible.
