On Friday 3/13, we submitted a large-scale funding proposal to Lilly Endowment Inc.’s $5M GIFT VII Community Leadership Grant. It took months of work and help from an army of local leaders to prepare. Three days later we quietly went home to deal with the developing crisis.
As luck would have it, we just learned that our proposal has been chosen to move on to the final round! There’s NO guarantee we will be funded, but if we do, it will be HUGE for our community.
