If you’re 70½ or older with an IRA, you can make a big difference for your community – and your taxes – with a QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution). When you ask your financial advisor to make a gift directly to RCCF, it is not counted as taxable income. Plus, if you are 72 or older, it can satisfy your RMD (Required Minimum Distribution).
