It had been 24 years since Carthage last updated their gateway signs. Aren’t they beautiful?!
“Carthage Lions Club appreciates Rush County Community Foundation/Ercell Bever Jr. Memorial Fund Grant in making this project a possibility. Ercell was a long time member of Carthage Lions and 16 years after his passing, he is still serving! We would also like to thank Helena Chemical Co, private citizens, and Carthage Lions breakfast funds for supporting this town pride project,” said Kathy Zeilinga.
