Application Process
STEP 1: Application
The application opens in mid-August for classes starting in the fall semester of the following year.
It is due September 15 at 11:59:59 pm. You will need to submit an official transcript and SAR (Student Aid Report), which you receive when you file your FAFSA.
The application is your time to shine. Tell your story and make your case. Note your academic successes, of course, but also your extra-curricular activities, volunteer work, and job experience. It all adds up.
RCCF’s LECS Nomination Committee utilizes a blind process to review all completed applications submitted by the deadline. The committee is chosen to represent a cross-section of Rush County, including its professional and geographic constituents.
We are proud of this prestigious award and pleased to offer this opportunity to our county’s students.
If you do not receive the LECS, you will have a head start on completing the RCCF scholarship application, which is due February 15 at 11:59:59 pm.
