It’s that bittersweet time of the year when we say thank you to board members whose terms have ended. Whenever the board was facing a big decision, Mindy Vogel could always be counted on to give thoughtful, clear guidance.
It’s safe to say that Mindy’s passion for the RCCF began before her service as a board member. Her mother, Barbara White, was among our earliest board members and continues to be a dear friend to the Foundation today. Mindy followed in her mother’s footsteps, demonstrating leadership, commitment, and a sincere enthusiasm for RCCF throughout her six years as a board member. Mindy served as secretary to our board and on our Grants, Scholarship, and GIFT VII Fundraising Committees. Her leadership supported our growth from a $16 million organization to a $22.5 million organization and provided oversight for nearly $4 million in grant distributions! We are a better organization because of Mindy’s time with us.
