STAFF & BOARD
We Love Rush County.
There’s no place like home.
Our Staff
Chris May
Executive Director
Chris is a Mays Tiger and RCHS grad. The 13-year former director of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, he returned to his home court to lead Team RCCF. He announces games on the radio for the Lions’ boys’ basketball team during the season. Equally at home in the woods of Maine, the streets of New York City, or the beaches of the Caribbean, Chris is a self-described “curious citizen of the world.”
Angie Bane
Administrative & Accounts Coordinator
Angie is a life-long Rush County resident. Wife to David, mom to Ashley, half sister/mom to Matt, and Nana – because she’s too cool to be grandma – to Roxie and Flint, Angie loves spending time with her family and friends. The Banes are road warriors, having been to 42 states, with plans to visit them all. Angie has developed a newly-found interest in birdwatching and will happily share photos of her favorite feathered friends with you.
Lisa Benjamin
Marketing & Communications Officer
Lisa grew up in Indianapolis and moved to Rush County in 2004. She lives with her husband, Tyler, two dogs, and a cat in a house built by her great-great grandparents. In her free time, you can find Lisa on her yoga mat, scooter, or paddleboard; rockhounding; taking photos; going to concerts; camping; or exploring backroads.
Our Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is made up of 8-15 volunteers. They establish policies, set strategies, approve grants & scholarships, and engage staff to carry out the daily work. Each serves a 3-year term with the option to stay for another 3 years. With passion, expertise, and oversight, they ensure the Foundation runs effectively. We’re grateful to these folks for sharing their time and talent on behalf of our community!
