Even though she is just a sophomore in high school, Elizabeth Amos is busy giving back to her community through band, FFA, Key Club, cheerleading, MORE of Rush County, Richland Farmers and Farmerettes 4-H Club, and Youth in Philanthropy (YIP). Wow! Elizabeth has definitely incorporated her family’s value of giving time to those who need it into her character. Her most-fond memory of being philanthropic was bowling for MORE. Elizabeth was able to knock down a lot of pins this day as she helped organize the event with MORE, bowled on her YIP team, and then spent the rest of the day helping her father (a MORE board member) keep everything running smoothly. While it may seem that Elizabeth could not possibly give more of herself back to her community, this girl is hoping to become involved with Peer Helpers and Facilitators and JAG before her high school career is over. RCCF is beyond grateful to have her help with YIP and is crossing fingers that she gets to accomplish all of her philanthropic goals.
